On Sunday, November 20, the World Rugby Awards 2022 will make their first appearance in Monaco and its famous Salle des Etoiles since the epidemic to honor the finest of rugby on and off the field throughout the previous calendar year.
A beautiful evening presented under the High Patronage of HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco will be capped off with rugby’s most prestigious honours. The World Rugby Awards, which will honor people who made significant contributions to the sport during the year, will take place on November 20.
The event, which will be held in Monte-Carlo following the Rugby Globe Cup 2021 and the men’s November internationals, will bring together some of the greatest figures in rugby from across the world as well as previous and present players.
There will now be a Women’s Breakthrough Player of the Year category, raising the total number of accolades for the greatest female rugby players to 14. The well-liked men’s and women’s 15s Dream Teams of the Year, chosen by a panel of industry greats last year, will continue to be the crowd favorites.

The World Rugby Awards panel will choose the nominees for each category, and they will be revealed early in November.
